Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) is a film festival in Indonesia which has been held every year since 2006 in Yogyakarta. This festival presents cinema from countries in Asia, especially Indonesia. During its implementation, JAFF worked closely with NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema), an organization based in Sri Lanka that connects critics, filmmakers, curators, festival organizers, exhibitors, and film observers from 30 countries in Asia.
JAFF holds regular programs showing selected works from Asia, both competitive and non-competitive, namely Asian Feature, Light of Asia, and Asian Perspectives. The Asian Feature Program is a screening and competition for Asian feature films. The awards up for grabs are the Golden Hanoman Award for the first best film in Asia, the Silver Hanoman Award for the second best film in Asia, the NETPAC Award for the best Asian film from the NETPAC jury, and the Geber Award for the best film in Asia by the film community. The Light of Asia program is a screening and competition for Asian short films to win the Blencong Award. As for non-competitive films, they will be screened in the Asian Feature program.
